STRATEGIC VULNERABILITIES:
As a Field Medic in the Army of God, you are a healer, nurturer, and restorer, carrying a heart for mending the broken and tending to the wounded—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. You are drawn to those in pain, offering compassion, intercession, and practical care to help others find healing in Christ.
However, if you are not fully dependent on Christ as the Great Physician, you may begin to carry burdens you were never meant to bear. Healing ministry can be deeply draining if you rely on your own strength rather than God’s power. Below are areas where self-reliance can creep in and how to stay under God’s authority and leadership as you care for others.
Compassion vs. Burden
Don’t carry more than God intends.
Empathy vs. Boundaries
Love deeply but protect your heart.
Care vs. Savior Complex
You help, but Christ heals.
Serving vs. Self-Care
Stay filled so you can pour out.
FINAL ENCOURAGEMENT:
A Kingdom Field Medic is called to bind up the brokenhearted and minister to the wounded, but your strength must come from the Lord, not yourself. True healing happens when people encounter the power and presence of Jesus—your role is to create space for that encounter. Stay filled, stay led, and remember: You are not the Healer—He is.
